The claim surfaced on the podcast in mid-September, then travelled fast: Dexerto on September 20, Insider Gaming and Beebom the following day. None of those outlets has seen the email itself, Rockstar has not commented publicly, and no performer has come forward with a copy. Host James Jarvis did not name his source. What set it off
The trigger is easy to trace back. On September 13, Stephen Root told AP Entertainment he is part of the GTA VI cast — the first actor ever to say so on the record — and in the fuller version of the same interview he named his character himself: Brian Heder, the Keys operator who employs Jason. Jason and Lucia still have no announced faces
The practical consequence is narrow but real. Dylan Rourke and Manni L. Perez remain the strongest candidates for Jason and Lucia in community detective work, and Perez has denied involvement outright. Behind them, a longer list of names circulates, sourced from résumés, voice matching and slip-ups rather than from the studio.
