GTA 6 Extended Look: the 15 confirmed songs and what they say about Vice City

A soundtrack hiding in plain sight

For 26 minutes, the Extended Look let players wander through Vice City โ€” and, in the background, Rockstar quietly confirmed the first real chunk of the GTA 6 soundtrack. According to RockstarINTEL, which compiled the full list, 15 songs can be heard across the official gameplay footage streamed on Netflix and later posted on YouTube. It is the largest official sample of the game's music since the announcement.

The 15 confirmed songs

The lineup spans nearly five decades and as many genres. Hip-hop and rap are well represented: "Pop Bottles" by Birdman and Lil Wayne, "Skrilla" by Kodak Black and "Pound Town" by Sexyy Red and Tay Keith. Rock gets "Love Bites" by Def Leppard and "Devil Woman" by Cliff Richard. Classic pop leans on "Take a Look at Me Now" by Phil Collins, "People Are People" by Depeche Mode, "Cars and Girls" by Prefab Sprout, "But I Think It's a Dream" by Captain & Tennille and "Let Your Love Flow" by the Bellamy Brothers. Latin music is prominent too โ€” fitting for a game set in a fictional Florida โ€” with "Besito de Coco" by Celia Cruz, Johnny Pacheco, Justo Betancourt and Papo Lucca, and "Se Me Nota Agarrame" by Chimbala and Omega. Electronic acts Elderbrook and Bob Moses ("Inner Light"), !!! ("Off the Grid") and Aluna with Jayda G ("Mine O' Mine") complete the list (RockstarINTEL).

Radio stations coming into focus

The Extended Look only shows a fraction of the stations. Earlier, leaked gameplay footage circulated by Cyberleek revealed radio names that Rockstar has not officially announced: CircoLoco Records Radio, Dirty South Classics, Honey FM, Back Country Radio, Emotion, Stockyard FM, Symphony FM and V-Rock (RockstarINTEL). The last one will make older fans smile โ€” V-Rock was one of the most beloved stations of GTA: Vice City in 2002. Those names remain unconfirmed, but they align with the genre mix heard in the official footage.

What the music tells us

A few things stand out. First, the Latin presence (salsa, dembow) reinforces the Miami-inspired setting โ€” Rockstar's radio has always been part of the worldbuilding. Second, the range of genres points to a large number of stations: the leaked list suggests returning formats (country, classic rock, dance) alongside newcomers such as CircoLoco Records, a real electronic label that would be a first for the series. Third, the taste for 80s pop and rock echoes the two trailers, which already used Tom Petty's "Love Is a Long Road" and Tammy Wynette's "Talkin' to Myself Again" (RockstarINTEL).

The caveat

Only the 15 tracks heard in the Extended Look are confirmed. The station names come from leaked early builds, so treat them as strong rumors rather than official facts. The full tracklist โ€” and the dozens of stations GTA players expect โ€” will only be revealed at launch, on November 19.

If the music heard so far is any indication, GTA 6 is betting on a soundtrack as eclectic as the city itself.
