GTA 6's new cast: the Extended Look introduces Raymond, Brian Heder, Dre'Quan Priest and more
A cast that expands beyond Jason and Lucia
The 26 minutes of the Extended Look were all about Jason and Lucia — but the presentation also did something quieter and just as important: it introduced the people around them. Rockstar Mag, the French fan site, has compiled the full dossier of characters seen in the Netflix showcase, and several names are new to the story.
The San4San circle: Raymond, Méndez and Ernesto
The Haitian street gang San4San, already glimpsed in the trailers, is back in force — a member seen in the very first trailer from December 2023 appears in the opening of the presentation. The gang works with Boobie Ike, the strip-club owner from the preview wave.
Its drug operation is run by Raymond, a character who finally gets proper screen time. He runs a drug production lab for the San4San and appears to supply Boobie Ike's club. In the Extended Look, Raymond is betrayed by a man named Ernesto, who calls him to warn that "friends" from the police are on their way. After the raid, Raymond hides Jason and Lucia in an apartment belonging to one of his contacts.
Then there is Méndez, the corrupt cop players may remember from Trailer 2. Jason and Lucia clearly have a past with him: hearing his voice is enough to make them run. Not much else is known — though the dossier speculates he could be linked to Ernesto.
Brian Heder, his wife and their connections
Brian Heder is one of the presentation's more colorful additions. According to his wife, he was a very handsome man in his youth. More practically, he seems to play the intermediary for certain jobs — one of his contacts needs one of the protagonists for a job that very evening. The scene ends with a moral lesson aimed at Jason, delivered through an explicit analogy about one of Brian's childhood friends: "You gotta know when to get off, Jason."
His wife Lori Heder, seen in screenshots before, finally gets a voice. She is warm and seems fond of the couple, but little is known about her yet.
Raul Bautista is introduced through Brian, possibly a former cellmate. Cal — more on him below — claims Raul once worked for the Dominican intelligence services, though the source is a character described as paranoid and conspiratorial, so the dossier treats it with caution. Raul is first seen when Jason and Lucia pick him up after what looks like a bank robbery. He is cheerful, funny and quick on the trigger, and he tells the couple this could be the start of a beautiful relationship — advising them to keep their phones close.
The music business and Megamundo
Dre'Quan Priest is a Vice City music entrepreneur, head of the Only Raw Records label, working alongside Boobie Ike. More of a hustler than a gangster, he is briefly seen outside the Jack of Hearts strip club, hugging both protagonists — a short scene suggesting he could become an important ally.
Andrés de León arrives by private jet at Vice City airport, where Jason and Lucia are tasked with his security. The three head to a party at the new US headquarters of Megamundo, a Spanish-language television network. The night goes wrong when armed men in white suits and masks storm the building and capture Andrés — forcing Jason to fight his way through the venue to find him.
At Megamundo, Petra Navarro, the company's COO and apparently Andrés' partner, is growing tired of his behavior. She asks Jason to let him do what he wants, then to bring him back for the speech seen later in the presentation. She looks set to remain a secondary character.
Cal Hampton closes the show
Cal Hampton is a close friend of Jason and Lucia and an associate of Brian — the kind of friend you spend an afternoon fishing and drinking beer with, while being convinced the government is spying on you. In the Extended Look, it is Cal who delivers the closing speech, inviting the protagonists to enjoy this moment of their lives before things change. The dossier reads the sequence as Rockstar winking at its own fans: enjoy this, because it may not happen again for a very long time.
Valentina, the Megamundo assistant returning from GTA Online, also appears — but she already got her own coverage. For now, most of these newcomers look like secondary characters, but the Extended Look made one thing clear: the criminal network around Jason and Lucia is a lot bigger than the trailers suggested.
