GTA 6's first official merch is real — and it's 1 of 4 ever made
The first official GTA 6 merch exists
Rockstar rarely ships merchandise before a game is out, and when it does, it usually means a store launch is coming. That is not what is happening here. According to GameRant, Rockstar has quietly sent a piece of official GTA 6 merchandise to a select group of content creators — and it may be one of the rarest gaming gifts ever handed out, because it probably will never be sold.
A neon sign for a privileged few
The item in question is a custom LED neon sign inspired by the well-known GTA 6 logotype. Australian YouTuber TGG (The Gaming Gorilla) revealed on social media that Rockstar had sent him one, and claimed that only a tiny number exist. "I believe this is 1 of 4 ever created," he said.
At the time of writing, Spanish content creator El Rubius appears to be the only other person publicly known to have received a similar sign. Whether other creators got one remains unclear — Rockstar has made no official announcement about the gift.
The catch: it's not for sale
The catch, as GameRant puts it, is that this first official merch probably won't be available for purchase. The sign looks like a thank-you gift for creators, not a product: Rockstar has not announced any broader GTA 6 merch line, and there is no indication these neon signs will ever reach a store.
Why TGG?
The choice of recipient makes sense in context. TGG was among the handful of content creators invited to Rockstar North to watch co-studio head Rob Nelson play GTA 6 for about three hours in person, shortly after the Netflix "Extended Look" premiered nearly half an hour of gameplay. The neon sign reads like an extension of that same relationship-building effort: a token of appreciation for creators Rockstar trusts, rather than a commercial item.
What it means
For fans, the story is mostly symbolic. It confirms that official GTA 6-branded items are already being produced internally, and that Rockstar is carefully curating its creator relationships ahead of the November 19 launch. It also sets expectations: if this is the "first official merch," it is not a signal that a store is opening soon — at least not yet.
As with any unconfirmed detail, TGG's "1 of 4" claim should be treated as his own estimate rather than an official number. Rockstar has said nothing about how many signs were made, who received them, or whether any will ever be sold. Until the company speaks, the neon sign remains a curiosity — proof that GTA 6 merchandise exists, and that most players will never get their hands on it.
