~55 GTA 6 merch items are already in Rockstar's store catalogue — the public breakdown adds up to 54
TL;DR

On September 24, 2026, the fan site GTAVice.net said it had found roughly 55 unannounced GTA VI merchandise items in the Rockstar Store's own catalogue, reached through a public API, and published a partial breakdown: 15 GTA VI T-shirts, 9 parody or branded T-shirts, 5 Rockstar T-shirts, 14 caps and hats and 11 other items such as stickers, keychains and balls — 54 entries against an 'around 55' h

The short answer

Rockstar has not announced a single GTA VI merchandise item for sale. Yet on September 24, 2026, the fan site GTAVice.net said it had found around 55 GTA VI products sitting inside the Rockstar Store's own catalogue, invisible on the storefront itself. Per that report, the data came from "a public API" for the store, and the outlet deliberately withheld most of it: no prices, no product pages, no release date. Neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has commented.

The timing is the story. According to RockstarINTEL, which assembled the sequence on September 24, the store had been modified repeatedly in the preceding 48 hours, and GTAVice.net published its finding at 10:58 AM that morning while hoping an update would go live "as early as today".

The published breakdown adds up to 54, not 55

GTAVice.net chose to release five lines: 15 GTA VI T-shirts, 9 "parody" or branded T-shirts, 5 Rockstar T-shirts, 14 caps and hats, and 11 other items including stickers, keychains and balls — followed by "and more". Those five lines sum to 54, against the outlet's own headline figure of "around 55". At least one item therefore sits outside the categories it published, and the trailing "and more" suggests the gap is deliberate rather than a rounding error.

Two patterns follow from that arithmetic. T-shirts are the bulk of the plan: 29 of the 54 documented items, or 53.7%. Headwear accounts for 14 (25.9%) and the catch-all "other" line for 11 (20.4%). And the count is of listings, not designs: GTAVice.net notes that some items are "available in multiple sizes and colour variants", so 55 entries do not necessarily mean 55 different products.

Per the same report, part of the range carries GTA VI branding while other pieces reference brands and businesses that exist inside the game world — merchandise that only makes sense to someone who has played the game it promotes, which is a departure from the studio logo items already on sale.

The chain of events, dated

RockstarINTEL's reconstruction starts with paperwork rather than pixels: documents indicating that GTA VI merchandise would be sold from the Kaseya Center in Miami, the arena that has carried the "Welcome to Vice City" sign since September 22, with no further detail attached. That claim has not been repeated by anyone with knowledge of the agreement, and Miami-Dade officials have only discussed the signage so far.

Next came the storefront. Sportskeeda reported on September 24 that @CGHchannel had spotted a new wishlist feature on the Rockstar Store, crediting @AtomicallyFused as the first to notice it. Per Sportskeeda, customers can now save items, and joining the store's mailing list brings restock and sale alerts for anything on that list — a notification system that only has a purpose if new stock is coming.

Then the backend. Per RockstarINTEL, a Discord bot that watches the Rockstar Store logged two updates within 10 minutes on the evening of Wednesday, September 23, followed by a third build pushed 15 minutes later. The outlet underlines how rare store updates are, and adds a precision that helps date the whole affair: the store being modified is not the album store that opened on September 17 with GTA VI: The Album — seven days earlier, and a separate shopfront.

The precedent, and what it doesn't prove

Notebookcheck, covering the same thread on September 24, supplies the historical frame: the Rockstar Store already sells merchandise tied to older games, and with GTA V in 2013 and Red Dead Redemption 2 in 2018, shirts were available before release. A clothing line appearing ahead of November 19 would be a first for GTA VI, but not a first for Rockstar.

Against that, a catalogue entry is not a product launch, and GTAVice.net says so itself: "the presence of an item in Rockstar's catalogue does not necessarily guarantee that it will ultimately be released." The past month backs the caution. On August 31, the first official GTA VI merch in circulation was a neon sign sent to creators such as TGG and El Rubius — a gift rather than stock, and reportedly one of only four made. On September 9, a "Vice City: Leonida" box photographed at a Mexican packaging plant was judged closer to a press kit than to a retail edition. Since then, the campaign has moved onto physical surfaces: A1 posters and dummy cases in UK shops, and a sign contract worth $975,000 reported by IGN. Paper and plastic, not products.

The one entry that has a name

Most of the 55 entries are anonymous: T-shirts, caps, keychains, a basketball. One has a full product name. On September 24, 2026, the X account GTA 6 Info (@GTASixInfo) reported that a listing reached through the same public API is filed as "Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State - Vice City Collection", crediting a GTAForums member posting as @Word. Per that account, the entry is a physical product with pre-orders enabled for November 19 — the game's release date.

Minutes later, iGrandTheftAuto (@iGrandTheftAuto), the outlet behind the original GTAVice.net exclusive, put two numbers on that entry: it is "limited to 1 per person", and it "could weigh as much as 11kg / 24lbs". Insider Gaming, covering the same list on September 24, repeats the one-per-customer limit and the 24-pound figure, and notes that the full 55-item list — clothing, bags, sticker packs and a basketball among them — was shared on GTAforums.com rather than published by a newsroom. Nobody has the contents, and nobody has a price.

"Goodtime State" is in-game branding, not an edition label

The name is worth reading closely. In GTA VI, Goodtime State is a television show inside the game, and its cartoon star Macca the Gator headlines "Goodtime Gear", the capsule collection of apparel and accessories that Rockstar reserved for the $99.99 Ultimate Edition. A physical product borrowing that branding could be merchandise built around the same fictional show as easily as it could be a premium version of the game.

That cuts both ways. It gives the listing a plausible retail identity without ever using the words "Collector's Edition", and it hands leakers a name that sounds official enough to travel unchallenged. What the name does not do is tell a buyer what is inside the box, and neither the API listing nor the four outlets covering it fill that gap.

Collector's Edition or merchandise box: the sources split

Insider Gaming declines to call it an edition. There is "no direct indication that is the case", it writes, adding that revealing a Collector's Edition now "would also be a strange approach": pre-orders opened on June 25, 2026, and the buyers most likely to want one have already committed. Rockstar has announced the $79.99 Standard, the $99.99 Ultimate and a standalone Ultimate upgrade. Nothing else.

GameGPU takes the opposite line the same day, stating that the collector's edition "will be called The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection" and that production and logistics are finishing the distribution of physical bundles to regional warehouses ahead of pre-orders. The outlet ties the name to the September 9 photos of a black box in a Mexican packaging plant, reported as larger than a PS5 box, and says analysts there have not ruled out a standalone merchandise box.

Rockstar's own history contains both models. GTA V's Collector's Edition, released September 17, 2013 at $149.99, bundled the game with a steelbook, a blueprint map, a New Era 9FIFTY cap and a security deposit bag with key. Red Dead Redemption 2 chose differently in 2018: its $99.99 Collector's Box, sold through Rockstar Warehouse and selected retailers, explicitly excluded the game — a box you bought in addition to the one that already held a disc.

A 24-pound, one-per-customer bundle sits closer to that second model, but that is arithmetic on a shipping weight rather than a statement from Rockstar. RockstarINTEL, which had the story first on September 24, added the tease anyway: "Rockstar Games are set to reveal GTA 6 merch very soon!" — a promise with no date attached, published at 11:15 UTC.

What a store launch would and wouldn't settle

The practical tell is a real update to the Rockstar Store. As of September 24, 56 days remained before the November 19 launch, and 49 before boxed vouchers can be collected on November 12; a merch drop inside that window would land alongside the heaviest pre-order period of the campaign. If nothing appears, the API entries join the pile of catalogue data that was never sold — a category that already includes several Rockstar items.

One question the range has complicated rather than answered is the one buyers have asked since June: whether a Collector's Edition exists. Rockstar has announced exactly two editions — the $79.99 Standard and the $99.99 Ultimate — both shipped in a box that contains a download code rather than a disc. A named 24-pound listing changes the odds, not the facts: as of September 24, no third edition has been announced, and GTAVice.net published no complete list, no prices and no dates.
