Rockstar, Nike and Travis Scott: a $130 Air Force 1 reportedly dropping on GTA VI launch day

Rockstar, Nike and Travis Scott: a $130 Air Force 1 reportedly dropping on GTA VI launch day
TL;DR

Sneaker Market RO, a Romanian sneaker outlet, claims a Cactus Jack x Rockstar x Nike Air Force 1 Low '07 drop in three colourways at $130 a pair for November 19, 2026 — GTA VI's launch day — as relayed by RockstarINTEL on October 31, 2026. That is 1.6 times the $79.99 standard edition of the game, or $390 for all three pairs. Neither Nike nor Rockstar Games has confirmed the collaboration.

The short answer

Rockstar Games is reportedly teaming up with Nike and Travis Scott on three Air Force 1 Low colourways, priced at $130 a pair and dated November 19, 2026 — the day Grand Theft Auto VI launches worldwide. The claim was published on October 31, 2026 by the Romanian sneaker outlet Sneaker Market RO and relayed the same day by RockstarINTEL. Neither Nike nor Rockstar Games has confirmed a single detail of it.

Where the claim comes from, and what it actually says

The origin is a single post from Sneaker Market RO, which RockstarINTEL describes as the largest and oldest sneaker market and media outlet in Romania, operating since 2014. The outlet's own wording is quoted verbatim by RockstarINTEL: "Cactus Jack x Rockstar x Nike Air Force 1 Low '07 is expected to release during Hoiday 2026 for $130 in 3 colorways, with the current release date set for November 19th, 2026" — typo included.

That sentence carries its own contradiction. "Expected to release during Holiday 2026" is a season, not a date; "the current release date set for November 19th" is a specific day. Reading both together, November 19 is the plan as it stands today, and the season is the window the outlet is willing to commit to publicly. The distinction matters because launch-day coordination is the most spectacular part of the rumour and the easiest part to get wrong.

Three colourways, one price, no euro figure

The leak names three pairs, all on the Air Force 1 Low '07 silhouette: "Black & Fire Pink", "White & Fire Pink" and "Multi-Color". At $130 each, buying the full set costs $390 — a number absent from the coverage, which quotes the per-pair price only. The leak gives no European price, so any euro figure circulating is a conversion, not information.

RockstarINTEL adds the obvious commercial reading: a limited drop on launch day will be picked up by resellers immediately. It also stresses, correctly, that nothing here has been confirmed by Nike or Rockstar, even by an outlet it rates as reputable.

What $130 means in GTA VI terms

GTA VI's standard edition is $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition $99.99. One pair of these Air Force 1s therefore costs 1.63 times the standard game, and $30.01 more than the most expensive edition of the game itself — for footwear that will not run on a console.

The comparison inside Rockstar's own merchandising is tighter. The Miami HEAT's "Vice City Collection", which went on sale on October 2, 2026, spans 14 items priced from $45 to $110, as reported by Vice, VGTimes and RockstarINTEL. At $130, the suspected sneakers would be the most expensive single licensed GTA VI item sold so far, $20 above the top of that range. Three pairs equal 4.9 copies of the standard game.

Rockstar has crossed into real-world retail before — exactly once at this level

The precedent is CircoLoco Records. On May 24, 2021 Rockstar announced a real record label created with Circoloco, the Ibiza party promoter, and its debut compilation "Monday Dreamin'" followed on July 9, 2021 — a physical and digital release, not an in-game brand, later tied to the Los Santos Tuners update (Rockstar Newswire, Music Business Worldwide).

Since then the pattern has been sports rather than music: the Vice City Collection with the Miami HEAT in October 2026, and the rooftop "Welcome to Vice City (VI)" sign on the Kaseya Center, contracted to stay until 2028 according to GTA BOOM. A Nike deal would be the first footwear partner, and the first time a Rockstar collaboration runs through a musician's own fashion label.

Travis Scott is the least random name in the leak

Travis Scott's Cactus Jack label has been working with Nike and Jordan Brand since 2017, and the Air Force 1 was among the first silhouettes he reworked — sneaker outlets disagree on whether his first AF1 Low, the canvas "Sail", landed in 2017 or 2018, which is a useful reminder of how loosely this corner of the industry dates things. His collaborations are routinely described by sneaker press as among the highest-resale releases of the category.

He also has a gaming record that no other musician matches at this scale. His Fortnite event "Astronomical" opened on April 23, 2020 and drew 12.3 million concurrent viewers, a figure Guinness World Records lists as the largest attendance for a concert inside a video game. A shoe tied to a game launch is, for him, a return visit rather than a first.

Launch week already looks like a schedule

The rumoured November 19 drop would not land in isolation. A Discord datamine reported by RockstarINTEL on October 7, 2026 puts a GTA VI x Discord campaign codenamed "Hexagon" live from November 17, 2026 at 18:00 UTC. The Miami HEAT play as "Vice City" on November 18 and sell the collection in person at the Kaseya Center that night. GTA VI follows on November 19.

Read that way, a sneaker release on launch day fits a sequence that already exists — brand partnerships stacked on the final 72 hours rather than scattered across the campaign. It is also why the rumour spread quickly: the date is plausible, which is not the same as verified.

What is confirmed, and what is not

Confirmed: nothing, by either company. The only named source is Sneaker Market RO, and RockstarINTEL — a fan outlet with a strong record but not an official Rockstar channel — is explicit that it is relaying a leak. No product images have surfaced publicly, no stock numbers, no distribution plan, and no indication of whether a release would run through Nike's SNKRS draw or through selected retailers.

Three things would settle it within days: a listing on Nike's SNKRS calendar, a post on the Rockstar Newswire, or product photography from a second, independent sneaker outlet. Until one of those appears, the price and the colourway names should be treated as reported claims, and the November 19 date as the outlet's current plan rather than a fixed appointment.
